BHCC’s Registered Nursing Program celebrated graduates with a pinning ceremony on May 16, 2023. Dean of 健康科学 Maryanne Atkinson welcomed everyone and asked students to celebrate their achievements while recognizing family, 朋友, 教师, and staff who supported them along the way.
Student speakers Stephanie Claire Torres, 卡罗琳·麦克唐纳, and Madelyn Soto shared heartfelt speeches about their journey to becoming a nurse and the dedication, 勇气, 做护士需要热情. The ceremony commenced with graduates reciting the Nightingale Pledge, an adaptation of the physician Hippocratic Oath for nurses.
